The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival

The city of Vancouver celebrates the Cherry Blossom Festival annually to express their gratitude towards Japan for their donation of over 37,000 ornamental cherry trees in the 1930s. These trees produce delicate flowers in the spring that cover the streets in a blanket of pale pink, leaving Vancouver looking beautiful and serene.
