Oru, our Pan-Asian bistro in Vancouver, is derived from the Japanese word meaning "to fold". Wallet-friendly, this free-standing restaurant features an open kitchen with two chef's tables, a private dining room, and wine tasting area with the largest sake cellar in the city. Executive chef David Wong, a recent competitor at the Bocuse d'Or culinary event in France, has created a harmonious fusion of east and west flavours in his kitchen. Open for power breakfasts during the week, Oru's morning signature item is smoked sablefish benedict with lobster hollandaise sauce. House-made jams, jellies and marmalades with just-baked pastries and breads made from our scratch kitchen. Try our traditional breakfast buffet featuring an omelette station, eggs benedict, bacon, local pork or turkey sausages, grilled tomatoes, and an assortment of cereals, fruit, charcuterie and cheeses.

Giovane is a lively, sophisticated and eclectic cafe + bakery + deli in Fairmont Pacific Rim. Giovane is filled with light and air from a sparkling wall of drop-down windows. There is seating for 41 – several high stools face the street for people-watching and views, and there are low-slung cafe chairs to relax in. Giovane is uniquely and independently branded from the rest of the hotel – it has all the characteristics of a stand-alone Italian cafe that happens to be located in the remarkable Coal Harbour. From Vancouver International Airport: Take the first exit that shows Vancouver Downtown. You will cross over the Arthur Laing Bridge. At the end of the bridge you will be on Granville Street.
